A mixed pressure pattern is likely, leading to changeable weather. Much of the period looks relatively dry.
A sharp change in daytime temperatures is on course later on, around Saturday 1st August, with overnight temperatures also shifting significantly within the next day or so, and the overall trend is for temperatures to fall both day and night through the period.
Very hot conditions are expected at times, with highs reaching into the mid 30s. The hottest conditions are forecast on on Wednesday 29 July, when temperatures may reach 36°C. The coolest night is expected on Sunday 9 August, with lows around 10°C. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
