An area of high pressure looks set to dominate, favouring settled weather. Rainfall looks limited, with most days staying dry.
A sharp change in daytime temperatures is forecast later on, around Sunday 16th August, with overnight temperatures also shifting significantly later on, around Tuesday 18th August, and the overall trend is for temperatures to fall both day and night through the period.
Hot conditions are probable on at times, with highs reaching into the 30s. The hottest conditions are predicted on on Thursday 13 August, when temperatures may reach 30°C. Monday 10 August sees the lowest temperatures, though remaining above 8°C. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
