A sharp change in daytime temperatures is on course later on, around Friday 17th July, with overnight temperatures also shifting significantly within the next day or so, and the overall trend is for temperatures to rise both day and night as the period progresses, and conditions may turn more unsettled as the period progresses.
Very hot conditions are expected at times, with highs reaching into the mid 30s. Friday 17 July looks like the hottest day, with temperatures climbing to 40°C. Minimum temperatures remain comfortable, dipping to 11°C on Friday 3 July. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
