Outlook remains quite mixed

Saturday is likely to be dry and bright in much of the UK. The exception is northern and western Scotland where patchy outbreaks of rain are likely to be pushing eastwards.

Sunday is forecast to be dry in much of the UK. However, there is a risk of patchy rain in northern England and Wales. A lot of cloud is likely in the south, with the brightest conditions in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Forecast details for Monday are uncertain. In Scotland and Northern Ireland light outbreaks of rain are possible. England and Wales may be brighter, but there is a risk of showers.
