The pattern appears changeable, with neither high nor low pressure fully in control. Much of the period looks relatively dry.
A sharp change in daytime temperatures is on course later on, around Monday 20th July, and the overall trend is for temperatures to fall both day and night through the period, and conditions may turn more unsettled as the period progresses.
Very hot conditions are predicted on at times, with highs reaching into the mid 30s. Peak heat looks set to develop on Friday 10 July, with highs around 35°C. Overnight temperatures will dip lowest on Wednesday 22 July, falling to 9°C. There is a notable spread between the highest and lowest temperatures, so conditions will vary considerably.
There will be some wet spells, with rainfall totals near 34mm over the period.
