The fine weather continues in most of the UK through the next few days with temperatures steadily rising. By Saturday values are likely to be peaking in the mid-20s Celsius. However, uncertainty increases by Sunday as an area of low pressure starts to push in from the Atlantic. It will bring a change to more unsettled weather, but central and eastern counties could hold on to the warmth until Monday. (If you would like to browse the website without adverts and contribute to its ongoing development, explore the payment options, see below)

Tonight, damp conditions persist in northern Scotland. Other areas have a dry and mild night.

Tomorrow virtually the whole of the UK enjoys another dry day with sunny periods. It could be the warmest day of the year so far with temperatures peaking in the mid 20Cs.

Low pressure returning

The fine spell continues on Saturday, with just a few showers in northern Britain. Temperatures once more peak in the low to mid 20Cs.

By Sunday pressure will be starting to fall, leading to a greater chance of showers, particularly in the west. Despite that, there should still be spells of warm sunshine. Temperatures could be a little higher than in recent days, possibly reaching 27°C in the London area.

Monday sees a major change in the weather. Low pressure pushing in from the west brings showers or longer spells of rain to much of the UK. It also turns cooler.
