As I write, it is snowing here in the north of Edinburgh once again.
That snow is settling and there is more of it than it was with our first fall of snow a couple of days ago.
That wasn't even enough for any sort of snow depth to actually be registered at Edinburgh Gogarbank, but I have a feeling that it will be different story this time and the equivalent rainfall total from that should be higher as well (the first snowfall a couple of days ago resulted in just 0.4 mm of rain being recorded at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh once that melted, along with nothing at all at Edinburgh Gogarbank).
The only downside is that it had clouded over quite a while before it actually started snowing, and that resulted in the temperature jumping back up above freezing, thus very nearly scuppering yet another chance of us getting our coldest night of the winter so far.😡
However, the temperature at 8am this morning was around 0°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
