8.2 here. hi res models have us anywhere from 15mm to 33mm.  I would suggest somewhere in the 20-25mm range would probably cover it?

Hi WI. Pretty much my thinking. There looks like being a lull during the night before a cold front bring on a further pulse of heavy rain in the small hours.

PS: Now at 12 mm.

Didn't manage to break the 10mm mark here from the latest system: 9.4mm brings the total up to 14.6mm - still well below average for this location at this stage of the month.

Still raining and absolutely delighted with 28.4mm of much needed rain. My plants, lawn, pond, pool and water butt all say "thank you".

up to 13.8mm now after yesterday's rain. Nothing much in the forecast for the coming days so the dry July continues....

A much needed 29 mm has fallen since 6 pm last night (although I suspected it is more than that given my cheapo Maplins station), the last dregs of rain is just leaving this end of Kent now with brightening skies.

Yes a very welcome 35mm of rain here. I had failed to look at the forecast in sufficient detail. and had only got the hosepipe out on Monday - that was a waste of time!

Looking at the models it could be a long wait for any more rain after today, unless we hit some thunderstorms.
