I've had 14.1mm so far this month. Most of that came on two days; 5.4mm on the 11th and 4.5mm on the 14th.


It looks like my total could be increasing a fair bit tomorrow.

A very wet day yesterday with 23.5mm of rain falling onto my weather station. The May total so far is now 35.9m to the 15th.

17.4mm here so far - I suspect rain-shadowing from the Welsh Mountains is having an effect here. We'll see how the convection goes over the Cheshire Plain in the coming days ...

Just 4.7mm from today's frontal system - the most we've had here in any 24hr period this month. Total now at 22.1mm, so getting there! Potential for this month to come in above average here - with that continuing risk of getting stuck under slow-moving troughs in this kind of meridional and/or northern-blocked set-up!
