Hi, Ian!

Odds on? Lol! Those odds look like lengthening considerably over the next few days - we had to get stuck under the trough eventually!

Now up to average here; 2.1mm to add from the 23rd and 11.9mm has fallen today so far. Total now at 60.8mm.

Hi John! From a dull, cool (refreshingly despite the high humidity) and breezy Folkestone. Looks like I was right with that 0.3 mm thing as that's exactly what I've picked up so far today.

The sky has looked threatening for most of the day, but in the event it delivered just 0.5mm of rain, and quite cool with it.

Not a great deal here today but month is on 74mm just 4mm short of average - seems sure to go above as plenty of showers about despite generally less horrid final few days.

We got 0.3mm here from an attempt at convection on the 26th and 2mm from showers on the 27th.

Total now at 63.1mm and it looks like we'll come in above average at this end - as the fronts are delivering more than the convection!

Yes, you could cut yourself on those edges  Moderate to heavy rain from the triple point of the current frontal system. It's already produced more than the last couple of days' convection in this area
