Orange warning for major storms to hit Cyprus and low maxes that I never seen before for tomorrow at 30C from Rik weather report online video at end of their Greek news.  I never see 30C being forecast tomorrow previous lowest was 32c after the storm in 25th August 1990 that dropped to 30C.  This seem more stronger and widespread that the coasts usually don't get rain will be hit too. Today Nicosia was 39.5c and tomorrow to drop to 30C which I am hoping to see 29C as a max as i never seen 29C in July or August before.  There was once did in early July 1992 after severe cold winter at 28.6C from the old Wunderground site.

I wonder what the reaction from the tourists being stuck inside their hotels and not expected to see this over coastal areas in summer.

That where we get the warm/hot weather tomorrow. 14c 850s here would give me 28-30C possible  and London 29-31C with 16C 850s' if conditions are good.  I am hoping to see the last 40C tomorrow for the conservatory as it never reach 40C yet in September.   Once again no one is interested with tomorrow hot weather which I been looking forward for days after a poor wet 2nd half of August.

You avoided the stinky rain showers which was a pest, only 1 day thunderstorm and one day frontal rain, if to take into account to remove rain showers which was every day I only woulde get 2 wet days.  Rain showers are no longer recogized and not recorded when i had the data before.  They are horrible, stink and no sun afterward unlike in April you see sharp blue skies, black clouds approaching with clear view of downdraft then avrils when passed, and smell extremely fresh with sun come out.

Meanwhile again rain in Troodos and same as yesterday which is surreal to see nearly every day rain in the mountains as if the mountain's climate changed to tropical type climate with daily rain and thundrestorms.

No surprise there. It'd be interesting to hear whether any UK records had been broken - I suspect they must have been, as SSTs were above 20C for months locally (late June to early September), peaking at 23C on the coarse-gridded analysis charts on MC. The SST is still 19C off Sheppey even now!
