Wimbledon

The weather in the next few days will be changeable but the south should often be fine. Next week high pressure could bring heat wave conditions back to the south.

Today starts wet in the south east, and damp in much of southern England. Elsewhere it is brighter. During the morning the drier conditions push into the south east and sunny periods develop widely this afternoon. Scattered showers may affect the north and west.

Temperatures range from about 16C (61F) in the north west to 21C (70F) in the south. See the rainfall radar for the latest.

Tonight a few showers continue in central and western regions but most places will be dry.

Tomorrow central and northern England have showers, and more persistent spells of rain push into the north west of the UK. Other areas have a dry and often sunny day.

Friday brings showery rain to central and northern regions. The south remains dry with some warm sunshine.

The weekend is expected to be changeable in the north. The south should be mostly dry and temperatures will be on the up again. It is looking mostly fine at Wimbledon, but probably very warm and humid on Centre Court. Buzz investigates the mid term outlook.
