I'm fairly happy with that.

I've been plugging away in this competition for over 7 years now and I am still yet to ever win an individual month.

   Well done PW.

Your month will come Gusty!  Keep plugging away. It would be interesting to see how we've all done over the years  I wonder if GW still has all the old tables?

I did get to the top spot early one year but then I went on holiday, missed the deadline and picked up some penalty points. It was all down hill from there.

That should take you clear of those who've been hot on your heels for a few months. Well done!

I suspected June was anomalously warm in south east Kent - and so it was: 3.5c above average maxima - exceptional.

and over 320 hrs of sun for Darren and Steve in Sheppey and Folkestone:

I suspect this thread has just been un-stickied due to it being an old thread but we still need the competition results and tables.  Any chance you might have time GW?

Sorry for the delay. Here are the charts for June.

Main headline is that the minimum CET was the highest on record for June

Annual CET competition - June update

Here is the table for June. roger63 has retaken the lead and now has a healthy cushion over springsunshine in second place.

We have lost 6 people from the competition this month. Also the bottom two have dropped off my chart as their errors are so large it is distorting the visibility of the figures for everyone else. So only the top 55 shown below.

I know Scotland's not included in the Met Office CET but just out of interest, Edinburgh's mean was 14.4 C in July
