Very lively cold front just passed through with heavy rain, squally winds and a bit of hail. Cloud already breaking and blue sky peeping through.
That same front has just gone through here - a rumble of thunder and some hail, as well as very squally winds (looked to be around 50mph, the trees were bending in the wind).
Thankfully the hills a couple of miles to the west weakened it, though... at the yacht club a few miles further to the west they recorded a gust of 66mph! It seemed to coincide with a "kink" in the front, and was accompanied by >96mm/hour rainfall rates, according to the radar. The peak here was 35mm/hour.
