Difficult one as gfs has been throwing some cold runs recently but ecm is staying pretty warm.

My gut feeling is we'll stick with the very mild with cooler snaps giving another above average month. 


As nobody has gone for it yet, I'll say a nice round 10c please.

Looks on the warm side to start with but cooler next week and then... well there's been some alarming model output recently but I'm not convinced there will be a long-lived enough turnaround to do much more than neutralise the CET anomaly.


Given the impressive tenacity of relative warmth so far this year across much of the hemisphere, I'm actually going to estimate something a little above; 9.1*C please
