Mr Vardy is a significant part of their problem.
There was an article on BBC Sport showing how he's making just as many sprints, covering just as much ground, and his accuracy & goals-per-shot strike rate are better.
But he's getting no service. Leicester are being dragged deeper, as they have nobody breaking up attacks. No coincidence that Kante was one of the few signings made by Chelski in the summer, and they're now leading the Prem by a margin, whilst Leicester struggle. He's a very good footballer but, more than that, he's brilliant in his role - and humble enough to not get ideas above his station (I remember Paul Ince being a great DM, but thinking he was a better footballer than just that & losing the discipline to play the deep role; Ferguson shipped him out and Ince was never the force he was when concentrating on just being a DM)
Spurs couldn't cope with Liverpool yesterday. It's ridiculous how good our record is against the other top 7 sides this season, whilst against the bottom 7 is woeful in comparison. The following is this season's games; home first, away second:
Chelsea - d / w
Tottenham - w / d
Arsenal - - / w
Man City - w / -
Man Utd - d / d
Everton - - / w
So out of 9 games (4 home, 5 away) we've won 5, drawn 4. It's the best record in the division I believe.
