Is Kevin Friend the worst ref in the top flight? I wouldn't bet against it.

Thankfully, he has bottled it by 'missing' Imbrahimovic's dreadful elbow on Mings. Meaning it will go to video review post-match and Ibrahimovic will likely be suspended for three games.

EDIT. This is the worst performance I've seen from any ref this season.

Astonishing that the only world class player Woolwich has is left on the bench by Wenger at the beginning of the match.

I doubt he'll get hauled over the coals, after all Mings deliberately attacked Ibrahimovic's delicate elbow with his viscous face apparently. A joke that the only player to get punished was the Cherries guy who gave a slight shove to Ibrahimovic, who theatrically made the most of it.

Maureen praised the ref afterwards. Well after having 12 men on his side he would do.

Great performance by Bournemouth though.

Can anyone see the bottom three changing between now and the end of the season?

Both Swansea and Leicester seem to have found some form, whilst Palace seem likely to be able to pull enough results  out of the bag to stay safe, and although Bournemouth have been through a torrid spell their performance against Scum-U suggests they still have the quality; they just need to pull that out for most of the final 11 games.

Nope. One thing's for sure, Sunderland is finally going to be put out of its misery.

Bournemouth should be safe. They've had a bad time with injuries, which is probably why they are where they are at present.

I also wouldn't be too unhappy if the top 4 stayed the same!

As expected, Ibramelbowvic handed a three match ban.

He's timed it well. He wasn't likely to play in the FA Cup game, then there's just Boro & West Brom to miss.

Scratchy & barely-deserved win for Liverpool today after another struggling performance against bottom-half of the table opposition.

Still, it's 3 points in the bag. We really do need top-4 this season if we're to bring in the 2 or 3 top, top quality players that can take us forwards. Keeping the Manc scum out is almost as important.

Chavs 1, United 0 with 5 mins to go. Either way the flags will be at half-mast this evening.

Ref spoilt the game with sending off but chavski were impressive. Conte is a brilliant manager and they could win a lot of trophies in the coming years. Assuming Ambramovich doesn't go bust of course!

I see Chelsea has to play Spurs at their second home ground in the semi-final.  Or should that be Chelsea's second ground?

Should be a great contest.

Two questionable yellow cards, but I'm not complaining.

I wonder if Chelski, seeing Maureen's 'sh*thouse' tactics being deployed against them, have revised their thoughts on him? He's one horrible turd of a human being.

On a side issue, I so hope Real Madrid go all-out to sign De Gea. He's probably worth about 15 points a season to the Manc scum.

I don't have a problem with a team being set up to defend but I do have a problem with a team being instructed to kick a player in very time he gets the ball because he's too good to play against within the rules.

I caught part of a discussion about whether referees should be able to issue the captain with a team warning. It's an interesting idea and would have the benefit of dealing with team orders to try to kick someone out of the game.

I don't see much difference between excessive defending and the 'kick the ball high up the park' approach taken by some teams: almost as tedious.

That's what I was referring to. Maureen is the king of snide.

BTW, what a result for Leicester!!! Get in!

Just finished watching the Chelsea match having been out last night.  Rojo looks like a candidate for a 3-match ban for stamping on Hazard near the end of the match.

Yes, great result for Leicester. Looking more like the team of last season

Isn't the going rate for stamping 5 matches..?

Or does that only apply when you stamp on a Man U player? (I think that whole disciplinary action was a joke)

Yes, that was quite bizarre. Perhaps the FA could be charged with bringing the game into disrepute.....

Apparently no action can be taken against Rojo because the referee saw the incident, included it in his report and deemed it not to be a stamp.

On the plus side, Man U is to be charged over failing to control its players.  No mention of failing to control the manager......

I missed the stamp on Hazard, but clearly Rojo should be serving a ban.
