As expected it has been wet last night and still is this morning with 17.6 mm of rain so far since 12 am here in my back yard at Folkestone. It brings the total rainfall for so far this month to 87 mm, above average for February - and bear in mind the first week of this month was rain-free.
While we have managed a couple of nicer days recently, it is feeling like a very long Autumn and the next week looks rubbish. Although I think February 2014 was even worse.

19mm fell on Saturday night bringing our February total to 78mm, also bringing some renewed flooding to our local area.   Already the 3rd wettest February I've recorded behind Feb 2020 (95mm) and Feb 2021 (82mm).

Hi Andy. A lot of surface water on roads and flooding in fields in our area, the Witham and associated drains seem quite full, with pumps in action. We walked south from Southrey this afternoon - but it's muddy on places - "up to yer guts in squad".
