A real mix here recently, frequent showers of sleet, graupel and snow. Absolutely pelting down with graupel at the moment. Instant dusting!

Edit- even proper hailstones mixed in!

I call it the '2009 experience', cos the same thing happened here in Feb 2009

(didn't have to wait too long for a snow bonanza, though!!)

Still fine snow here, undulating between very light and moderately heavy

Nothing accumulating, obviously

We're now having the "any other year you can think of experience". The heavy blob of precipitation over south Berkshire / north Hampshire seems to be just rain. Snow cover still solid on the grass but no doubt thawing steadily.

Snow pepping up again here. Temperature has dropped down from 2C to 1C and it's trying to settle on the grass and cars again. Pretty much all of the morning's snow had melted.

Roll on some spring warmth.

The micromoominclimate strikes again! Areas to your north, south, east and west have had plenty of settling snow.

The sunlit snow clouds  are just out to sea here too but this one is not heading in my direction.  Still around 4” of level snow here despite no snowfall since yesterday morning.

Moderate snow here, let up for a couple of hours around midday but started up again at 3, mini 4 inch drifts and a more general couple of inches at our altitude (some melting in mid afternoon lull). Lovely stuff. Absolutely hammering it down on the top of the hill (290m asl) and must be a good 5-6 inches up there by now. Bodes well for those in the North Midlands and North Wales.

Wild enough wind picking up here in Galway as the sky lowers  Remains to be seen if that approaching front brings any snow or just loads of rain.

Comparing Manchester’s MetO forecast for tomorrow to Sheffield, Leeds and Liverpool makes me a right grump.

Damn, damn that southeasterly wind snow shadow effect. An absolute pain in the arse. Heavy snow in all those other cities, but all Manc will no doubt get is a few flakes of sleet in the wind.
