Next week looking potentially very pleasant for the middle of February - not too windy and temps up to 10-12c quite widely in the south. As you'd expect it's generally less mild the further north you head but even Aberdeen manages a double digit day, presumably with a bit of a foehn effect setting up.  It looks mostly dry too, maybe a few bits and pieces about, again more likely the further north (and west) you head.

The imminent warming in the strat looks very likely now, with a second bout for the end of the month. Whether that makes any impact is unknown but be interesting to see if accuracy struggles if it does downwell and the models get to drips with the impacts.

I would expect Aberdeen to be the warmest place in the U.K. tomorrow with temperatures into the teens (°C) based on the current output. I’d say a number of days in double figures are likely even up here and largely dry overall. It could be much much worse.
