Bit of infographics there! Made me laugh the original slides they looked like they were created using excel '97. Some organisations can take an age to upgrade their software.

. It WAS the only option as the other flights were Gatwick. Right slog from the N Norfolk coast! Am pretty much resigned to not getting refund for June flights, and having to rebook at a hugely inflated cost. March flight already has refund claimed, it’s just in the system (they say)

Not used Ryanair for years but that is shockingly poor. I'm under the impression some airlines may start flying simply to avoid being forced to pay refunds. I also fear for the staff. In March I flew BA and Finnair and it was obvious the cabin crew were already concerned for their health.

What evidence is there to directly link the alleged attack to her death.
We don't even know the attacker actually had CV or if there was more context not disclosed.
I really wonder why any newspaper reports in this way, are they trying to increase tension or what.
It's actually rather sinister what they will do for clicks.

You only have to read some of the responses in here to what you have written to understand why the media circus write these things. Some are simply incapable of rational/ reasonable thought. 

Spitting in someone's face for no good reason is vile! But you are right to ask what evidence is there that this is what gave this lady CV? How do they know that she wasn't already infected, or that it wasn't subsequently picked up after the incident? In any court of law these would be basic questions that would need to be answered.

So is mine, packages definitely but Stansted to Murcia was nearly £200 quid more! Again, not a lot of choice to do Ryanair.

I have serious doubts as you know about self testing and postal testing. I don't think we are getting accurate results and lots of false negatives

Hospital admissions has always been our best guide to what is really happening. Fauci said that we would stabilise over the summer, at a much lower rate that previously of course, but then it may rise again in September as UV levels drop and economy gets back into full swing and schools open

The ZOe Covid-19 app that showed that upward blip yesterday has now gone level for the next two days. Based on that big sample and this data i would expect that to be the future number of admissions or even a slight upward trend. The graph is now showing the underlying rate because the people's behaviour had become a constant now. Infections might now be front line workers, workers having to get public transport or risk some other form of contacts and of course idiots. Without changing what we do in either direction it would surely have to plateau, it is just at a higher level than we would want because of our inadequacies.

She worked in the middle of London on public transport where she will have likely passed 100's probably 1000's of people each day. 

What happened between her and the attacker that lead to this spitting is unknown (as far as I'm aware), but spitting in someones face is unacceptable (unless in self defense). The attacker apparently spat and said they had coronavirus, ok not good for attacker but was this said in anger? Even so if it was true we would still comeback in a court of law to proof that this lady didn't already have, or didn't subsequently pick it up. 

The papers and news have spun this to make a story.. conjecture isn't fact. They love a good guilty until proven innocent story. 

What he wrote was reasonable, and just because there are a few sensitive petals who don't like questions that might be objective to there own beliefs, it doesn't make him a bad or unreasonable person.

 

On the Government Dashboard, they now show cases by Lower Tier Local Authority, which breaks up the data for counties into the constituent regions.

This shows that, by a country mile, the authority with the worst rate of Covid infections is Barrow-in-Furness, with 822.2 cases per 100,000. The next worst I can find South Lakeland with 487.9, then Ashford, Kent with 484.2, then comes Gateshead with 478.5 and is the highest ranked Upper Tier local authority.

According to the article below, Barrow has the highest infection rate in the UK. This is partly due to doing lots of testing but apparently the death rate is also one of the highest. There is no obvious factor, i guess meaning that there aren't any obvious links to superspreader events. Deprivation and poor health are loosely blamed.
