It looks as though Christmas Day 2016 was a Provisional date record for the CET Maximum


Yesterday's provisional CET Max of 13.2 beat the existing record of 13.1 set way back on 25th December 2015

I got this month so wrong, in fact my predictions (I mean guesses) haven't been good at all this year. But the weather has been good and the seasons have behaved quite well here, so I'm not complaining.

Is there  also a chance of record low precipitation for december particulaly in the south?

For the benefit of GW - thanks for your sterling work this year.  I'd be delighted if you carry on with your excellent CET by month cumulative comp. , but if you're too busy to do it, then I'm sure we all appreciate that, in which case, it is good to see there are others that will step up to the plate.
