A slight recovery. 18.5c this morning.

Some weak afternoon sunshine and the cooker raised the temperature to 19.2c from that cold arrival home temperature of 17.4c yesterday.

Risen to  22.5c.

Was 20C this morning before i left Letchworth to back to work in Slough.  Will go home on Thursday and if cool inside then will open the windows to bring in the warmth so it a race to get warm inside before temps drop off on Friday.

26C upstairs, 19C downstairs, 19C outside. A bit too warm upstairs!

Recovery continues. 19.2c this morning.

An early evening peak of 20.3c yesterday with some strong sunshine between 4 and 5pm really helping things along. Curtains closed at 7.30pm to trap it in.

Hoping to open french doors this afternoon if the outside temperature exceeds 21c.

Same here.

The main doors shut. The kitchen window is ajar. The extractor fan is turned on.

The slow cooker is on. The temperature indoors is 22.5c.

23.0c. Indoors wit sunshine through lounge windows. 

19.0c this morning. A high of 20.0c early yesterday evening but an opportunity was lost as convective infill arrived at noon and never cleared preventing sunshine that would have warmed things up to 22-23c. Running out of time now.

22.5c indoors today.

Arrived home this morning and was 18.5 then i turn the oven open for 30mins that managed to warm up to 20C now.  Very polluted skies outside which prevent warm strong sunshine and 21 forecast seem unlikely at is 15C outside.  This HP which brought very unsettled weather and cloudy weather will buzz off and hope to see warmer and sunnier tom.

Like what Steve said time is running out and I find this month extremely poor without a single warm sunny day. 

I'd be cold with 19C indoors.

16c /17c indoor temp is comfortable for me   

22C at 7pm, helped by a bit of sun this afternoon.

20.5C now since I closed  the shutters very early at 6pm and it getting a bit warmer, was already quite dull outside.

21 up, 18 down this morning. Pleasant enough!

(It's meant to be several degrees colder than recently today, however; it's reached a rounded 20 the past two days but today GFS has just 14, while MetO has 16, cloud and rain in both cases.)

I've got some friends coming round for coffee this morning and I know they keep their house at 21-22 C. Shall I sacrifice my principles and turn the heating on? Probably yes, and regard it as a test run for the winter to come.

17.5c all day yesterday which was dull and rainy.

16.5c this morning, which will hopefully rise when the sun gets to work.
