Yep, latest strike E of Hatfield.
Metar report from Luton Airport a short while ago was 'thunderstorm, heavy rain, hail' and a temperature of 32°C. What must that be like?
i’m just 3 miles from the airport and its great, I’m sitting out in it
headache finally abating
The 'Richmond' cell in SW London must be producing decent size hail.
Yes the radar has really burst into life over the last 30 minutes or so, classic cap busting. Should be an interesting evening!
Triplet south of Richmond.
Lovely towering clouds to the NW of Reigate, but although they're launching nearby, they're constantly drifting away. Baking hot with a hairdryer breeze blowing.

Yes, I can vouch for that. It's like a sauna out there now. Only a few drops of rain so far.
Thunderstorm developing here very quickly. From almost clear skies a short while ago now huge towers and frequent thunder. Rain now falling as well.
Towers now visible N of Alton with white radar there.
After scorching heat all day so far, we have had a rapid build up of cloud and some good convection right above my head.Berkshire - the desert providing the heat for storms further north, as ever!

Some hefty showers popping up just to the south and east of me, across Surrey/Hants borders
That's how the Guildford cluster started, from a small shower at about 2.20 NE of Horsham. Meanwhile, several strikes near Odiham sending sounds your way too.
Everything has blow up west of London
Are you hearing frequent thunder? It seems to be coming from the east, so I would imagine so. It's every 5-10 seconds or so, and has been doing so for the last 20 minutes.
Incredible cloudscape with crepuscular rays coming through the towers and milky white skies at high levels between the cumulonimbus. Quite eerie.
Continuous rumbles of thunder to our south east. Surely it's only a matter of time before we get clobbered.
We are getting clobbered. Mother of all thunder storms right now. Torrential rain, hail and strong winds too.
