Sorry about the PM box being full. I have kept trying to delete the older messages each month, but they never seem to. It would not let me. It just kept saying confirm delete, then the box on top of the screen would appear and say 0 messages deleted. So I tried to delete all, and oh that worked, so every message ever is gone. Argh.

I'm only missing a couple, so thank you all for posting on the topic thread. I will PM the missing couple, as they may have tried or thought it had gone through.

Thanks all.

I found it did delete the messages if you selected a few at a time but the confirmation screen did not always show the correct number.
For example if you selected 2 to delete, it would delete them both but then confirm it had deleted only 1 message.

Hope you are feeling better

I wonder if it's possible for Brian to increase the capacity in your PM library. Other messageboard software does allow this.

I've resent my prediction. At least I hope it's the same one as I sent yesterday. Deleting the message also seems to delete it from my sent mail.

It is certainly looking like a very mild first 10 days to the month. Could well be in double figures by the end of the first third

👍 We’re definitely stuck in a milder than average pattern. I keep thinking, surely one month is eventually going to be cooler.  But I’m still reluctant to guess anything other than above average. At this rate, it’ll be a record year overall.

Knowing our luck the warm pattern will probably end in the summer

I don't like extreme summer heat but always feels a waste when that happens
It's also been warm in the most uninspiring way possible . Always with the dull and wet !

Which is why I think the media have been strangely silent about what is now quite a remarkable run of anomalous warmth since last September, would certainly be getting much more attention if it was March to Sept and accompanied by sunny and dry conditions

More like since December 2022, which was the last below average (61-90) month. Of course, that came after a run of 18 above-average months.

And as only one out of the last 34 months has been below average, I certainly won't be expecting any more... we'll get one eventually (and it'd be lovely if it happened in summer), but expecting any given month to be colder than average? That's a great way to be in for disappointment IMO.

Aprils predictions from EACU Royal Sussex County Hospital as i have been here 5 hours already

We have all gone warmer than average, which is hardly surprising given the last few month's record breaker. Only one prediction goes that high
right now, it looks like any sub 10.5 is probably too cold but let us wait and see

Judging by the output and the current CET, we might have all gone too low. 🙄
