This so-called "winter" just seems to be going from bad to worse here.
As I write, we should in the coldest time of the year on average as we are still in what should be the winter equivalent of high summer yet in spite of that, the temperature here in Edinburgh was still at around 10°C as at 8pm this evening (3 February 2023).
Absolutely pathetic!!😡
To make matters even worse, there continues to be no actual weather in terms of any form of precipitation apart from the odd smidgen of drizzle in the air on the odd occasion.
Today has been mostly overcast and our winter borefest goes on.
This is exactly why there just isn't the same interest in the weather as what there used to be, and why these threads now have to be created only a weekly basis instead of daily as a result.😡
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
