Hi John! From a sunny Folkestone. The unbroken sunshine which lasted the whole day enabled temperatures to hold firm at 21 C through the afternoon and up to now, despite the moderate nor'easter wind. Current humidity is 42%.A very different May to the infamous frigid May of 2013 when unusually cold seas and persistent north east winds kept it feeling like I was living at Newfoundland well late into that Spring.
Hi, Ian! Clear skies here and the temp. is at 25.3 C @ 58% RH Winds yet again have an easterly component - currently SE mainly light. Pressure now at 1020mb falling slowly. It's going to be a sticky night for sleeping here and the resident song thrush will whistle me out of bed at 4am unless I have the windows shut and the ear plugs in Maybe an extra cider needed tonight (any excuse!)
