Minimum of 10.4 and 11.9C now, wind is gusting to 30mph, but it's noticeable the flow it isn't particularly gusty which is unusual here in a westerly. There was a sharp shower in the night gave 0.2mm

springlike conditions now the sun has really come out, on my journey from uckfield to eastbourne  the temp briefly touched 17 at uckfield but falling to 12 toward the coast with low cloud covering the Downs and no doubt cooler right on the coast

Back up to 16.2C in distinctly warm sunshine. Amazing day.

It has been a rather pleasant and mild albeit rather cloudy and breezy day. However cooler and more unsettled conditions are now moving in and he temperature is on a steady decline at 8.8°C currently with some patchy rain.

I see from the radar that the showers are also turning wintry on the hills in the NW - a bit of contrast across the country from NW to SE now.
