Yes. I really do think my 5c guess was too low, rather than too high.  Roller coaster or what?

I think I have got myself in a spot of bother with my 1.1c prediction.

Well, you will go changing your entry at the 11th hour

(if it's any consolation, which I know it won't be, when you made that change, it was a fair shout - Just goes to show how volatile the models were around the turn of the month)

I think this is one of those months where I might have done better if all predictions had been by PM. I was minded to go milder but toned it down when I saw everyone's cold guesses. As it is I think we are all going to finish too low. There was a real taste of spring in the air today...

6.2c is a final estimate from the latest model output. A markedly mild second half of the month

Thanks Caz.

It was brave but perfectly plausible at the time..in typical fashion the models flipped the very next morning.

Its a mountain to climb now..I will not give up. Small incremental gains is my game plan this year now. I've set my sights high and am aiming for a mid table finish.

Why, oh why did I think (given there's so much warmth in the world atm) that this month might be just average. Doh!  I mean, well known warmist me fell for the model output

Sigh.  Note to self: back to, guess +.5/1C for me

Very brave but nothing ventured, nothing gained. It's the taking part that counts.

Whereas I'd rather get my guess in early so I'm not influenced by anything other than my gut feeling.  Not that it does me much good.

When I saw everyone going low I thought I was way  too high. Now it looks like we're all too low.
