On the plus side, we managed to fit our annual trip to Alton Towers Scarefest in between the bands of rain.


Felt very lucky as we hit heavy rain about 15 minutes after leaving.

About 45mm here, spring water supply now looks reasonably healthy after being remarkably unresponsive to average rain in September and only gradually going up through this month. October average is 77mm so won't reach that by next Monday.
November is usually our wettest month by some margin with average 96mm
