Injecting anything into a debate that is even mildly vague or ambiguous in the current climate is a car crash given the inability of sections of the British Public to think for themselves in a responsible way.

You really don't like to be proved wrong, do you?

You made a comment; I responded to that comment; you claim 'context', which apparently means I have to read every single one of your posts to try to guess what's going on inside your little head.

Guy on BBC news special just said could play singles tennis against someone OUTSIDE your household. Has he got that right as first I have heard.

I don’t believe that is correct, you can play with someone in your own household only.

Where are we on the tory blame-dodging timeline? Looking like moving from Stage 2 to Stage 3 by the posts today?

1. Before the event - "well it's too early to tell / scaremongering / we have procedures in place"
2. At the time of the event - "now is not the time / rally round"
3. After the event - "well hindsight is always 20-20 / easy to criticise / lessons will be learned "

That's what I thought. Let's see what the PM says.

You can play with another person. As long as they're from your household. Unless they're not from your household and you can play with them. Under some circumstances. And only some sports.

Clear as mud.

I think she's just a very good judge of character.

I think you can replace 1-5 with a subtext of either "it doesn't matter... Brexit" or "it doesn't matter... Boris stopped the lefties"

I seriously wonder what happened to common sense!  Heaven knows we complain enough about being spoon fed, maybe that’s caused some to forget how to take responsibility.

Oh for christ sake what do you want. I clarified my position and I said I do not believe that the UK will return to normality. So, what, because I made a misleading or unclear post that suddenly means I have to be judged against something I do not believe nor have ever believed.

Its semantic rubbish. I'm telling you now, this is my position:

I believe it would have been possible to return to the kind of normality we experienced in February (which is what I meant by 'virtual normality') I did not, nor ever claimed, that it would have been possible to return to a situation prior to the pandemic.

I haven't U turned in the last 2 hours. This is your problem, you care more about making quick gotcha points then what my position actually is.
