No sign of summer in NW England. Drab, dull and overcast in Stockport with drizzle earlier in the morning. Then sun tried to break through but failed.
Well if you think that's bad, you certainly wouldn't want to be here in Edinburgh just now (although it is at least a bit drier back in your more normal surroundings in Aberdeen).
Here, today has been wet and miserable throughout the day. It has hardly ever stopped raining since I first got up this morning, and it's still raining just now as I write.
You at least, got to see the Sun trying to break through for a while, but we haven't even had that here today and so, nothing in the way of sunshine has been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 3pm this afternoon.
