Saw a bit of snow this morning, amazing how fast the snow melted though.


Yes most of those showers in the north are snow.

Heavy wet snow, after hail/sleet on and off all morning. Poor effort from the forecasters.


 

From December 27th 2020, zonality will be banned from mixing with the UK. We appreciate that this may come as a shock to younger people and old Uncle Barty. This ban will last for a minimum of ten days.

Glad this didn't set up over you, it would have completely changed the going at Aintree !

Snow in April is wierd. Feels like T shirt weather one minute. Snow the next.


I've recorded 4 days in April with falling snow (Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Today) and 1 day with lying snow (early this morning)


That beats out most Winter months!

Unbelievably there was/is a covering at Headingley much lower down than here but a few miles further south where the heavier stuff was.

How much snow did you get first thing this morning? I  was surprised to see the blob on the radar when I woke up .

A dusting, didn't actually see the snow fall. Suspect happened around 6:30am.
