I haven't seen any rain here in the north of Edinburgh, but I  have seen a little bit of snow and soft hail although this hasn't actually amounted to anything here.

Nevertheless, so much for British Summer Time.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Very cold and windy here with a dusting of snow right down to the beach.

With snow showers at around -2°C here in the city, it is cold by normal winter standards never mind spring.

Quite remarkable switch in 24 hours - yesterday we were able to have lunch outside at the grandparents' house and it felt like summer at 16C. Today it is currently 5.6C with a dewpoint of -5C and I'm waiting for the snow to arrive! )Just a few spots of rain so far).
