Nice snow shower again. 1.5c
We have had loads of wet snow last 24 hours, if only we were 100-150m higher we would still have a frozen winter wonderland with about 8cm snow. As it is, pavements are slushy and snow cover is thawing.

The light covering of snow we had last night had almost gone this morning, washed away by sleety showers in the night.  Our morning walk was treacherous though, with footpaths turned to sheets of black ice and the light rain freezing on impact.  We now have moderate sleet.

Not particularly exciting but we did have a very brief bit of sleet during the heaviest part of a recent shower. Current temp locally is 2.4c with a DP of 1.8c so does give some encouragement for next week when the DP is forecast to be a bit lower and 850s a smidge colder.

Still no snow in this part of the SE, too warm here. Maybe soon though, but probably not

3cm from persistent light snow showers this morning, temp hovering at 0.3 dp 0.1, enjoying the last hurrah of this current cold spell, with a good few cold days left before it breaks.

A few snow showers overnight but no organised band as some models were showing.
As a result we only have a dusting on some surfaces, less than yesterday morning despite conditions supposedly being more favourable today.

Maybe if you went uphill a bit to 119.378 metres asl?

My phone weather app says the current weather is snow showers but I can’t see anything despite the radar looking like something is on the way.

First snow flurries that I have witnessed this winter. Very light but at least I've seen some now! I think we had some light flurries on Saturday morning too but I was still in bed.

Have had our own snow streamer today, very localised narrow band of showers coming off the moray firth, and just getting inland enough to change to snow, not much accumulating, but nice to see snow on and off all day, still hovering just above freezing -5 forecast tonight.
