As I predicted just recently, getting any sort of rainfall in this part of the world has become more of a struggle once again, but the overall outlook is slightly more unsettled than what it was then.
This would suggest that this month probably will be wetter than average in the end, in terms of the actual rainfall amounts although this is likely to be almost solely down to that really wet day which we had at the very beginning of this morning.
Furthermore, getting a wetter than average month is likely to be more of a struggle, especially as we completely missed out on the rain which other parts of the UK got during the first half of this week with a southerly tracking jet making that likely to happen on other occasions during the rest of this month as well.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
