A game of margins. Literally 2" lower and Prodl's shot (at the very end) would have gone in for the equaliser. And two points lost.

I saw Klopp put his arm round Prodl after the match. I wonder if he was trolling him.

Seriously, because we don't pay mega-ultra-bucks, 9/10 times we'll lose out to a Citeh, Chelski or Scum-U who'll just throw an extra £100k a week at the player. The positive is that Klopp, much like Poch, can often identify a player considered the tier or two below the top echelon but who has the potential to get to that 'all the mega-rich clubs would like them' bracket. I mean, how much us Ali worth? Even players like Mane & Matip at Liverpool. When you look at how Scum-u especially have been suckered into paying stupid money for a flavour of the month player in recent years... but who's failed to deliver.

Ali £5m; Pogba £89m.

Margins indeed - if Lallana's shot would have been half an inch lower, it wouldn't have hit the bar & gone downwards vertically near enough on the line and come out.

We were lucky though, no doubt about it. Got the 3 but played pants (disruption from Coutinho going off after getting nobbled would have been a factor, but we need to be able to cope & adapt in those situations)

Glad also to see Lucas being dealt with properly for a pathetic dive in the box.

I'm guessing that you'd not be too unhappy if the teams of Messrs Maureen & Wenger missed qualifying for the ECL.

I'd find it hilarious given all the money the pair of them - especially Maureen - have spunked in recent years.

Hammers beat Spurs 1-0; very good performance by Hammers and something of an off day for Spurs, who didn't create very much.

Chelsea play twice before Spurs's next match so it could be over a week from now.

Bilic had a game plan that worked wonders. Simple as that. The most Spurs deserved was a draw.

Anyway, Maureen is supposedly putting out a weakened team against Arsenal. So it could be all over before then.

It'll not be over until we stumble over that line. Hoping for a draw in the Arses-Scum game; that'd give us a bit more breathing space - although not necessarily enough!

Also remember that we need at least a point against United to ensure second.

Good to see Palace put up just as much of a fight against Citeh as they did against us

Penaltypool will struggle to make top 4 at this rate! Still some tricky fixtures to come. Maureen might have the last laugh 😮

I'd rather Wenger pipped us. Maureen is one of the most loathsome pieces of crap in football - and at one of the most loathsome clubs.

Come on Spurs, wipe that self-satisfied smirk off Maureen's face today and give WHL a proper goodbye.

6-0 should do it 😉

Good atmosphere inside WHL.

Have to feel a bit sorry for United. They used to have so many more Facebook 'likes' than Spurs. That was until Facebook was banned in China of course.

Wenger's getting more whingey by the season. When asked today about needing help from other teams to get top-4, Wenger sulked:

“When you are a manager you want your team to give everything until the last moment. You hope that results go your way. Some teams turn up, some teams are on holiday. You just want your team to play well. To be professional is to do your job well until the last day of the season. To look into the mirror and say you did it properly is vital. If we don’t have the results I am disappointed but what is not excusable is to not give your best.”

This just 2 days after Stoke were about as focused as, er, West Ham were. And the weekend after Maureen put out a second string against them.
