Another cracker to finish the best summer since at least 1995 my guess 18.2 and this month wouldn't be suprised if near on 100f is reached.

We have not had a significant period of below average temps since last November and at some point this persistant above average temperature anomoly will end, Ive a feeling August is going to be the tipping point and quite an unsettled month with the atalntic being the dominant force,


Therefore im going to go for a very average 16.5c please


Unfortunatly summer 2014 is not going to be up there with the `big boys` those averaging 17c+

Despite a somewhat disturbing GFS 12z op run today, I'm going to stick with the warmer theme of the majority of runs over the past few days, and go for a nice round
