Dull and gloomy, just not as wet as yesterday's 7.8 mm where no rain has fallen so far today. Also slightly less cold at 4.0 C but still a damp-feeling 95% H in dead calm air.
Home location: Folkestone Harbour.

Much the same here at 6.3C and flat calm. What a run of nothingness.

I wonder if we will get a run of high pressure and warm to hot sunshine this year?

It seems so far away but it will change I'm sure to something better in due course.

Even though it is rather cloudy, I can actually see little slivers of blue sky! 5.1 C & low 90% H and winds continue to be light.

UPDATE: The sun has just come out! Was starting to forget what the thing looked like.

Let it be known that the sun broke through the cloud, briefly at 13:33 today, it was glorious to see, even fleetingly!

Grey, low cloud, damp. Slightly less cold than of late, 5.7C. I hope to report at least one day of sun in the next two weeks to see if I can beat December's 2 days!

Going to properly notice that at the first sunny day in quite a while, though.

2.8c, grey and gloomy as per the norm.

The only saving grace today is that there is no wind so it doesn't feel too bad out.

Could have swore I saw a couple of flakes of snow in the rain as I walked to the shop there earlier. Feels bitter cold in that wind even though temp is well above freezing at 2.5c.

Raw, with near gale force winds from the ESE and rain with pulses of heavier rain at times. Temperature 6.6c needless to say it’s dull.

What a transformation! Mostly clear skies, just the odd puff of cloud around, abundant sunshine and a lazy wind.
