Its odd to post here when people are talking about record breaking xmas temperatures, but before then we have the possibility of some snow.
I'm eyeing up Sunday in particular. For western and northern parts there is a genuine risk of snow storms. Gale force winds and very heavy snow showers with some spots having some high accumulations; but with this being convective it will be dependent on the locality.
However in terms of lake effect potential this looks like it could be bad for a few spots. Places like London I'm sure will see nothing but the NW of Scotland could see truly dangerous and extreme conditions.
