Week 2 in Malaga. Last week was glorious with pretty much unbroken sunshine and temperatures into the 20s, peaking at 25C
This week we have been plagued by Mediterranean gloom! A steady easterly wind has brought low cloud onto the south east coast of Spain since Monday. Each day has been overcast here near the coast with some late bright periods. Inland, early cloud has burnt away to leave sunny conditions.
Temperatures here have been around 16 or 17C each day this week so it feels like early June in the south east of England when we get stubborn North Sea low cloud.
I expect in a few weeks time, similar synoptics would result in the cloud breaking as the sun gets stronger, even on the coast.
