Back to a nice spring-like day today - it's oscillating between spring and summer over the past few days.

Sunny, with a fresh-feeling breeze from the east. 13.2C after a high of 13.8C earlier, and a dewpoint of 7.8C.

Yesterday reached 18.4C, more like early June than the beginning of May!

Yesterday's 16.5C was down on the previous day's 20C but already up to 18C today.

Just like yesterday it's pretty much wall to wall sunshine with the exception to a little cirrus, and visible inland cloud.

Turned out decent enough with near unbroken sunshine pretty much all day, but could only manage a peak of 14.3 C at 2.30 pm and now 12.7 C but felt warm in the sunshine when I was sheltered from the nagging east wind while I mowed my west-facing front garden. Good for airing the house out with windows open, though.

Just reached a new temperature record so far this year at a dizzying 18.5 C here at Folkestone Harbour, a shame there is a lot of high cloud junk.

A surprisingly warm burst here this evening: 19.6C, and for once my windows are firmly closed. It's warmer out than in, as it's gone up 5 degrees in just over 2 hours!

After a cold cloudy week in Edinburgh, arrived in Nottingham to warm sun and 18 C. Can only dream about that in Eastern Scotland 😂
However we've since had a big downpour with rumbles of thunder to the north

Been such a mediocre spring that 10 mins sunshine after a heavy shower and drizzly morning means it is now the warmest day of the year here. Lovely strong sunshine now and temp rocketing to 17.0c.

Feeling a little summer like outside especially in the sunshine. 

A few very brief but heavy showers have passed through but definitely more in the way of sunshine. 

Being a very pleasant day with plenty of Spring-like sunshine, but a finger of high cloud is blotting out the sun right now. Not going to break heat records with 16 C & low 80% H but feels pleasantly mild in light SW breeze anyway.
