185.0mm. Not far off from the magic (and almost unheard of, 200mm).

GFS predicts another 30mm here by the months end. Its now looking more than achievable.

After a further inch of rain overnight now up to a staggering 285mm .so now the question is will we get to that 300 mm mark . Looking very possible at the moment with the lingering rain band . Probably wettest month ever in the eastbourne area

The latest rainfall data for Edinburgh Gogarbank and the botanic gardens in Edinburgh are as follows:

Data For Recent Days

Total since 9am GMT (09:00 UTC) yesterday morning: 3.4 mm at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 2.0 mm at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh (as at 7am GMT (07:00 UTC) this morning on Sunday 27 November 2022

Monthly Data

Total for this month so far: 96.4 mm (130.9% of 1991-2020 November average) at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 95.8 mm (146.8% of 1991-2020 November average) at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh
Number of rain days during this month so far:  13 (101.1% of 1991-2020 November average) at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 10 (85.5% of 1991-2020 November average) at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh
Number of dry days during this month so far:  5 at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 7 at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh

This means that more official rain days have now been recorded at Edinburgh Gogarbank during this month than the 1991-2020 November average and so, this month will go down as being wetter than average there in terms of the number of rain days regardless of what happens between now and the end of this month.

However, another 2 or more official rain days still need to be recorded at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh between now and the end of this month in order for this month to go down as being wetter than average there in terms of the number of rain days. We are only three days away from the end of the month as I write and with the forecast for the next few days being much drier, time appears to have now run out for that.

Seasonal Data

Total for this autumn so far:  261.4 mm (123.6% of 1991-2020 autumn average) at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 255.0 mm (130.2% of 1991-2020 autumn average) at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh
Number of rain days during this autumn so far:  39 (107.1% of 1991-2020 autumn average) at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 37 (110.9% of 1991-2020 autumn average) at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh
Number of dry days during this autumn so far:  29 at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 29 at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh

Annual Data

Total for this year so far: 619.8 mm (79.0% of 1991-2020 annual average) at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 561.4 mm (77.1% of 1991-2020 annual average) at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh
Number of rain days during this year so far:  119 (86.6% of 1991-2020 annual average) at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 108 (84.2% of 1991-2020 annual average) at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh
Number of dry days during this year so far:  155 at Edinburgh Gogarbank along with 154 at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh
