It wasn't actually as bad as I thought it would be, though I did keep to the main roads as much as possible. The snow was actually heaviest just before I got into work - some of the flakes were the size of a fist and they were coming down hard, so it was a shame I wasn't a few minutes earlier.

Glad to be able to join in the snow reports at last

It's been snowing here for the past 45 minutes or so. No accumulation where I work as it's urban and built up but a decent covering at home with the temperature staying a fraction below zero.

Edit. The snow has stopped now but we got a good hour and a half of moderate to heavy snow. Starting to melt now on the roofs here at work but hopefully, there will be some left at home by the time I'm finished work. That's the heaviest snowfall I've seen since late March 2018.

Was totally not expected to see snow tonight as they put clear and frosty tonigh at -4C.  It stopped a while ago so good to see.

Yes a lot of them heading down to Birmingham and my area east of the city soon.  Frosty here and snow retained finally last night without melting.  Top up will be nice again.

First settled slushy snow of the season and snowing / hailing lightly with thunder 5 minutes ago. Must have all of 5mm 😂
