The CET will be yo-yoing all over the place for the rest of the month. Much of last week was very cool and the CET did dip below 16C for a time. Very warm this weekend then very cool again. Warmer for a time later next week before the month ends on a cooler note again.

Little change in my overall projection for the CET. Still expected to hold just above 16C by the end of the month. Currently 16.07C is the estimate.

Here are the charts for August. After the first couple of days the CET meandered around the 16C mark for the whole month. Other than a brief warm spell from the 21st to the 23rd there was no significant heat to speak of during the month.
