Woken up to a shower of large snow flakes settling on the frozen snow! Quite a surprise. It was -6 C at the airport earlier

After going back to sleep for a while, I have just woke up to discover that everything here in the north of Edinburgh is white not with frost as I had expected, but with snow although it appears to have stopped snowing for now.
