Meanwhile those critical of the government have begun criticising those who faithfully defend them whilst criticising the critics.

Got that?

Not entirely! To confuse you more I am not for one minute saying people shouldn't be criticising the government  as I am and do but just found it interesting that when I suggested some things maybe they should have said there were no alternative views, other suggestions or comments, but just arguments about what they had said.

Even when you’re wrong and I’ve demonstrated it clearly you still argue. Unbelievable.

Because, having clarified my position, and pointed you to context in other posts you would rather argue with a strawman than accept on facevalue what I say my position is. I haven't U turned in the last 2 hours gandalf.

UK data

  • Total tests - 100,490

  • People tested - 65,337

  • Positive tests - 3,877

  • All setting deaths - 210 (goes against NHS England data of 209 I sense a mess up again)

I found this odd on the BBC News and typifies the lack of genuine thought and logic. Golf can start up with a maximum of two players. Must be social distancing and recommended not to touch flags (new rule allows flag to stay in now for putting anyway) and bunker rakes. That all makes perfect sense and I see no risk of cross transmission. Then they said basketball will also be allowed. So is each player going to sterilise the ball before they throw it to the next or keep social distance? One can only assume they mean that a single individual can stand on their own and throw a ball at a net and backplate.

There's the document. It's very light on detail for secondary schools at least...

"Secondary schools and further education colleges should also prepare to begin some face to face contact with Year 10 and 12 pupils who have key exams next year, in support of their continued remote, home learning."

That's pretty much useless - it kind of hints at that being on June 1st, same as primaries, but doesn't explicitly give any dates.

I'm sure my head will be delighted, not!

I don't think I have ever accused you of being left wing. We have strong differences of opinion for sure, but I have never considered you to be a raving leftie - I see you rather as a Blair/Major/Heseltine type - part of the globalist, internationalist centre ground who sees the concerns of many ordinary people (and Brexit supporters) to be somewhat parochial. No, you said NHS England reported 209 hospital deaths. All settings deaths are 210. Is that just England data?

209 was England

210 is the UK

You are correct. I left the Tory Party in 1995 when the b4stards were starting to undermine Major who I thought was a good PM.

I would of thought basketball was one of the last sports they should bring back. Contact, indoors, touching equipment, just about crosses every box.
