Well, not quite. Once a country has contained the virus via economy destroying lock-down measures, it needs to then restrict its re-entry. So no more Spanish holidays, Alpine walks or jetting to and from many destinations, apart from on essential business.

A guy on the BBC news special just said in England 159 have died in the last twenty four hours. Is this true. Should someone have a word if its fake news?

I think maybe that total new cases is for England only, and they've not included new cases in Scotland, Wales and NI?

If any country claims to have exact numbers for testing or even more so for deaths then they are either rounding or lying. Normally it would take days or weeks to have these numbers published, to attempt to do it daily (as the public will expect) can only deliver an estimate. The numbers should not be used to extrapolate a trend, rather as others have mentioned, a smoothed running average over a period of days should be used.
