Don't think it was deleted, Ian - just moved to the Model Breakout thread (Brian can be strict with his keeping the MO thread strictly discussing Model Output - FWIW, I thought yours should have stayed where you posted it; I also use Weatheronline, as I prefer how the maps are presented)
Edit - it's here

Meanwhile, I am now back in Edinburgh after yet another completely snowless Christmas trip to the Scottish Borders with very little in the way of frost.
I actually came back yesterday. That was a day which started cloudy down in Hawick, but with that cloud gradually breaking up. On my journey north, I then ran into cloud, mist, fog and even some drizzly rain in places along the way. As I am travelling along the A7 from the Borders into the Midlothian Council area, I can usually start to see Edinburgh in the distance with the characteristic sight of Arthur's Seat already starting to come into view with the Pentland Hills also appearing further west but with all of the mist and fog around, there was never any chance of me being able to see that on this occasion. When I then arrived in Edinburgh, the drizzle had gone but I had entered into the ongoing permacast hell which Jerry has mentioned in recent days, and this meant that it was already getting dark when I arrived shortly after 3pm.
Today is a completely different story though so in that regard, Jerry will no doubt be glad that I did come back as that seems to brought back our sunshine. Last night was a fairly cold night with an official air frost after the skies cleared during the night with the temperature dropping to a minimum of -2.3°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank. That actually makes last night our coldest night of this winter so far but today is now the penultimate day of both this month and this year, and for that to be our lowest temperature of any winter month is pretty pathetic in my books.😡
In complete contrast to other recent days though, today up until now has been bright and sunny with only small amounts of cloud and a temperature of around 3°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
