Ready for tomorrow

That is one less task for me to do tomorrow on here and since this is one of the four times in any year in which I also look back on an entire season's stats in addition to just a month's stats, that is very important indeed.
A cold day! Minimum of -0.5, Maximum of 3 C and already down to 1 C at 1445 down here in the frost hollow
Blue sky all day but no sunshine in this neighbourhood, the sun doesn't rise over Blackford Hill now

However, a total of 4.5 hours of sunshine was recorded for today at Edinburgh Gogarbank which was actually quite a decent amount given that we're now less than a month away from the winter solstice with it being dark for most of the time now as a result.
The temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank reached 4.5°C during the daylight hours. That was too warm for today to go down as our coldest day of the autumn and in any case, the final stats for today will show that this won't actually matter in any way.
It's since clouded over here in Edinburgh and it's now raining as I write.
With that, it's also warmed up a bit again to around 4°C after getting down to around 1°C for a brief period of time. According to the forecasts, it's expected to warm up further during the night to around 8°C and since the official observation day starts and ends at 09:00 UTC, today's official maximum temperature will be determined by whatever it warms up to tonight, and not in any way by today's highest daytime temperature.
Of course, tomorrow is also the first day of what is supposed to be the meteorological winter and it's just like the thing that it's warming up just in time for that which is just typical of our weather here in the UK.🥵
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
